Last updated: August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Chiro Foods website (chirofoods.ie) and any orders placed through it. By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order.

2. About Us

Chiro Foods [Limited] operates chirofoods.ie, an online grocery store supplying authentic Nigerian and African food products to customers in Ireland. Our address is 251 Raheny Road, Raheny, Dublin 5, Ireland. You can contact us by phone on 083 158 0004 or by email at chirofoodslimited@gmail.com.

3. Use of This Website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order with us. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your name, delivery address, and contact details. You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfering with its operation.

4. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices on our website are accurate. However, product packaging, branding, and availability may vary from what is shown online. Images are for illustration purposes and may not reflect exact product size or packaging. If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable, we will contact you to offer a substitute, a refund for that item, or the option to cancel your order.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is taken securely online at the time of order through our website's payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

6. Orders & Order Acceptance

Placing an order through our website is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud. An order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation from us.

7. Delivery & Click & Collect

We deliver throughout Ireland. Delivery within Dublin is subject to a minimum order value. Estimated delivery time is within 48 hours of order confirmation, though this may vary depending on your location and order volume. Click & Collect is available for orders placed for collection in store. Please ensure someone is available to receive deliveries, as we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information or a failed delivery attempt.

8. Wholesale Orders

We supply wholesale orders for businesses and customers purchasing in larger quantities. Wholesale pricing, minimum quantities, and delivery arrangements are agreed separately with each customer. Please contact us directly to discuss wholesale terms.

9. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

As we sell fresh and perishable food products, we are unable to accept returns once an order has been delivered or collected. If there is a problem with your order, such as a missing, incorrect, or damaged item, please contact us within [X] days of receiving your order and we will do our best to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or a refund. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

10. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with details and, where possible, a photo of the item. We will investigate and offer an appropriate resolution.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Chiro Foods and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chiro Foods will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or your order, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect once posted on this page. Please check back periodically to stay informed of any updates.
